VT-700CM
As in traditional calling, users have to scratch off the lamination on the card to read the PIN. In order to use the calling card to make a call, users have to dial a number to the phone company, input the PVITSN, and then dial the phone they want to call. Since users have to dial so many numbers, it is very prone to errors. VT700CM use Magnetic Card Reader (MCR), thus, PIN is saved in the card and can be read with MCR. This way, users only have to swipe the card in the MCR, and MCR can read the PIN and input it automatically of which users only have to dial the phone numbers they want to dial. No extra dialing is needed and no more learning extra skills. Users do not even have to be literate to read the instructions.
VT700CM can also support traditional calling card system. If the user does not have the magnetic strip on the card, he can simply use VT700CM as a regular phone and input physically the PIN. For system operators, there are no compatibility issues for new cards and old ones. It does not matter if users have traditional cards or magnetic card, they can always use the cards on VT700CM.

Alarm Report (optional)
- Self-Diagnosis and Alarm system
Payphone can detect the KEYPAD, CARD READER, HANDSET are working normally or not. If these parts got problems, payphone will auto send the Alarm signals (DTMF) to the operator center.
- Daily report to operator center
Payphone has a built in Real time clock. It can program a regular time to Auto report its condition to operator center daily.
If the payphone is ‘forced’ open by someone, it will detec the cover is open and send the Alarm signals to the operator center automatically.
