VOIP Gateway

Foniq VoIP Gateway

IRG-100

Foniq International Roaming Gateway (IRG) will forever change the way you look at International Roaming while travelling overseas. The concept, similarly to Follow-Me, is to allow you to be contacted anywhere in the world without having to pay for those hefty roaming charges. While you're overseas, your friends, peers, and business partners can just contact you by calling a virtual local telephone number provided by a VOIP provider, and that, in turns, will call your overseas number at a low IDD rates using VOIP.

However, unlike Follow-Me where you have to rely on a VOIP provider to provide you a virtual number, our IRG-100 gives your the freedom that you have always wanted by allowing you to use your very own telephone line/number as your virtual number. All you need is an Internet connection with a minimum bandwidth of 56kbps, a normal analog telphone line, and 5-steps configuration via our user-friendly web interface coming with the gateway. Then, any calls to your phone number will be subsquently forwarded to your overseas number using our reliable trunks at a very competitive IDD rates.

Here's how it works

1 - Joe got an IRG-100, connects one of its port to his telephone socket
2 - Joe connects IRG-100's ethernet port to his broadband Modem
3 - Joe connects to the IRG-100 user-friendly web interface and configure his mobile number in Thailand
4 - Joe flies to Thailand
5 - Joe's friends call him via his local telephone number -- which is hooked up to the Foniq IRG-100 gateway
6 - IRG-100 forwards the call to Joe's number in Thailand (as configured in step 3) using low VOIP IDD rates from Foniq

CBG-100

Foniq CallBack Gateway (CBG) gives you the option to install and use your own callback service, right at your very home, or company. No VOIP provider to worry about*, no more worries about buying prepaid cards at midnight, you now can precisely keep track and control of what you use. All you need is our CBG-100, a minimum of 2 phone lines, and optionally, the Internet**, and your very own callback service is ready for use.

The following diagram illustrates how our CBG works with 2 PSTN line and without any Internet connection.

1 - Joe got a CGB-100, connects one of its port to one of his telephone sockets (PSTN 1)
2 - Joe connects another port on the CBG-100 to another telephone socket (PSTN 2)
3 - Joe then makes a call to the phone number of his PSTN 1, PSTN 1 will immediately hangup Joe's call upon receiving the connection request and free itself
4 - CBG-100 then uses PSTN 2 to perform a callback to Joe, and Joe then can enter his destination phone number, and CBG-100 will use the PSTN 1 to perform his call

The following scenario shows you how CBG-100 can apply to the situation where you have only 1 telephone line, or you want to use CBG-100 to make IDD calls at low cost.

1 - Joe got a CGB-100, connects one of its port to one of his telephone sockets (PSTN 1)
2 - Joe connects CGB-100's ethernet port to his broadband Modem
3 - Joe then makes a call to the phone number of his PSTN 1, PSTN 1 will immediately hangup Joe's call upon receiving the connection request and free itself; ready to receive another callback request
4 - CBG-100 then uses the Internet connection to forward the callback request to Foniq Server
5 - Foniq Server calls Joe and prompts Joe to enter his destination phone number, and Foniq Server will use its resource to connect Joe's to his destination number using low calling rates.
