SIP-to-PSTN

SIP-to-PSTN calls relies on a similar technology to SIP-to-SIP. However, instead of having to have two VOIP phones and Internet connections at both ends for the communication to work, SIP-to-PSTN requires just one VOIP phone at one end and the other end can be just any regular PSTN phone or mobile phone. This type of solution basically benefits those who can't satisfy the requirements of the SIP-to-SIP communication and want to cut down their monthly phone bill on international calls up to 80%.

Here's how it works

Before you can use this solution, you will need to register or have an active Foniq account. Your VOIP Phone will then be configured to authenticate to our Foniq Server. Anytime a call is made from your IP phone, the call will be forwarded to our Foniq Server via the Internet, and our Foniq Server in turns, will use its own gateway to help you connect to the international destination using cheap VOIP IDD rate and establish the call.
