Security Training

People are the key factor to a successful security program, and because of the inherent weaknesses in people, they're also the weakest link in the whole security chain. As a result, FONIQ have made different types of security training available for staff with different roles within your company.

High-level Training (Management, Board of Directors, CEO)

Individuals that have this type of role usually have the power to decide whether a security program will "pass" or "fail". A security program will eventually fail if it doesn't have the right support and attention that it deserves. After attending this type of security training provided by FONIQ, you can be sure that your Management, Board of Directors, or CEO will:

  • Possess the necessary skills to deal with various types of security breaches or incidents. The skills that are mentioned here are Non-Technical. These skills are necessary for your Management to be able to direct and manage a security incident correctly
  • Be aware of their roles within the whole security chain after the training
  • Understand the differences among various security measures so that a lucid decision can be made
 Technical Training (Network/Security Administrator)

Our technical security training delivers what your Network/Security Administrator needs to maintain the security posture of the network. Upon completion of this training, your Network/Security Administrator will be able to:
  • Know how to implement proper access control, that is providing resources to the right people without compromising security
  • Know various types of available authentication mechanisms and how to implement them properly to satisfy the security requirements
  • Develop, implement, and maintain password policy
  • React and handle security incidents promptly
  • Analyze, maintain, and secure audit trails
  • Configure the systems securely, as well as the network
  • ...
 User Training (Security Awareness)

End-users are the last element in a security chain. For a strong and secured network infrastructure, end-users need to be aware of their actions and act appropriately to protect the resources they're entitled to use. Our security awareness training will train your users to:
  • Look out for suspicious signs of intrusions and report those to the appropriate personnel
  • Not participate in spreading worm, virus, or hoax
  • Create a strong password and keep their password secret
  • Not abuse the company's resources for personal use (surfing to porn sites, gambling, personal e-mail, etc.)
  • Not install unlicensed or pirated software that could expose company to liabilities
  • Follow the direction directed by your security policy
